Frederic Malherbe

Frederic Malherbe is Professor of Economics and Finance at University College London, where he directs the UCL Centre for Finance. His research on financial intermediation, banking regulation, and political economy has appeared in leading journals including theJournal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, The Journal of Financial Economics, and the Journal of Political Economy. A CEPR Research Fellow and adviser to the Bank of England and to the Bank of International Settlements, he holds a PhD from the Université libre de Bruxelles and previously taught at London Business School.
