INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON FINANCIAL SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE & STABILITY (IWFSAS)

Background

The International Workshop on Financial System Architecture & Stability (IWFSAS) invites submissions for its 2025 annual conference on the theme “The Future of Global Financial Architecture.” As the global financial system undergoes profound transformations driven by economic shifts, geopolitical realignments, technological advancements, and the urgent need for sustainability, this conference seeks to explore how financial institutions, markets, and regulatory frameworks must evolve to ensure stability, resilience, and inclusivity.

We welcome high-quality theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research papers from academics, practitioners, and policymakers addressing key aspects of the evolving global financial system.

This year’s IWFSAS meeting will be hosted by the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), in collaboration with Centre for European Policies Studies (CEPS),  Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), and the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria.
