Kelly Shue<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Professor of Finance<\/strong>
\nYale School of Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor Shue’s academic interests lie at the intersection of behavioral economics and empirical corporate finance.\u00a0Her research has explored the Peter Principle, compensation and promotions, gender and negotiations, the gambler’s fallacy, contrast effects and non-proportional thinking in asset pricing, and executive social networks. Her research has been featured in numerous news outlets including CNN, NPR, and the\u00a0Wall Street Journal<\/em>, and has been awarded the AQR Insight Award, the Wharton School-WRDS Award for Best Empirical Finance Paper, and the UBS Global Asset Management Award for Research in Investments. She serves as an associate editor at the\u00a0Journal of Finance<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Journal of Financial Economics<\/em>, and previously served as an editor at the\u00a0Review of Finance<\/em>. Barbara Zvan is the President and CEO of University Pension Plan (UPP), working to deliver valuable, lifelong pension security to more than 39,000 members across Ontario\u2019s university communities. Barb is globally recognized as a leading voice on sustainable investing and an ambassador for defined benefit pensions. She was named Canada\u2019s CEO of the Year and Corporate Citizen of the Year 2022 by the Globe and Mail\u2019s Report on Business magazine in honour of her contributions and leadership in both areas.<\/p>\n

In 2018, Barb was appointed to the Government of Canada\u2019s Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance and is an inaugural member of the Sustainable Finance Action Council, which launched in 2021. She also serves on the board of the Responsible Investment Association and the advisory board of the Institute of Sustainable Finance at the Smith School of Business. She chairs the Steering Committee of Climate Engagement Canada, and co-chairs the C.D.
